Well, that depends on the kind of story you’re writing. The length of your tale will dictate the amount of character information you’ll need to create them come to life. For simplicity’s sake, I have broken my personality sheet to what I use for each type of writing. Your character sheets may vary.
The two main categories that literature most often gets grouped into is both nonfiction and fiction. This article will populate the genre of fiction and that it has to offer the author. Whenever you start to study something it is great to start by defining topic of study and in such a case that is fiction. Fiction can be described as story literary works whose material is produced by the imagination and is not necessarily based on fact. In fiction the story or an part of it’s obviously feigned, invented, or imagined. Basically fiction is no more than a made-up narrative. Most folks would agree that fiction is normally of the more artistically inclined writer instead of nonfiction. Fiction can be used as a fantastic instrument to achieve many different motives.
Referring to the theme in recurring pictures, props, colors, settings, and situations might also be used in the demonstration of this theme. The colour red in the movie American Beauty provides an important tip-off in presenting the main topic of the narrative as it plays to the viewer’s feelings every time it’s shown. What have just discussed is crucial for your knowledge about blog here, but there is a lot more to think about. However is that all there is? Another advantage is that it can improve your creativity and help you to become more imaginative. There are times when you find your creativity is not creative enough and you get stuck when you are making up a few ideas for a creative project. As you browse through the story storyline, you will have the ability to envision the plots in mind. By boosting your imagination, you will be able to create better games, create more creative arts and compose better tales of your own.
Use your experiences to create the story come to life. If you have been hurt, then write it down. If you’ve been scared, write it down. In case you’ve ever been in love, duped, overjoyed, given birth, buried a puppy, been in an accident, conduct a race, or had your heart broken, write it down. All these are the things that will make your story worth reading no matter what it’s about. Using your creativity doesn’t mean that you make everything up from scratch. Simply ask yourself “what if” and plug into your personal experiences. This is what keeps the readers participated , and turning page after page. Be yourself and keep on writing.
Getting back to fiction that the creativity of the writer also must be predicated on his direct or indirect encounters. In this sense fiction is based on reality and to this extent it represents another dimension of reality. Here of course we run into the philosophical difficulty of the precise meaning of reality. You will find two diametrically opposite views – materialistic and spiritualistic. According to the prior only things that can be perceived through our senses are real, everything else is unreal. The latter maintains that there’s one ultimate reality from which we perceive comes out and what that’s perceived is simply an illusion. We look at a statement by Einstein: “Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a persistent one.” He was obviously referring to the fact of this phenomenal world. The term illusion can have different connotations but in general it means perceiving something as different from what it is. Therefore the presence of the thing is a prerequisite for illusion, it isn’t a mental construction. Imagination is a mental phenomenon and has nothing to do with anything actually existing. Thus the connection between fiction and reality is entirely different from that between illusion and reality. You can always check different fiction stories for reference.
Let’s start with Tripmaster Monkey. Kingston’s novel is astoundingly erudite, and also her erudition is largely responsible for what worries me here. How so? Only this – the very first chapter (I am using the initial paperback Classic edition of July, 1990) runs from page three to page thirty five. In that area I rely forty references to literature or theatre. (The remainder of the book is substantially the same, although perhaps not in quite so high of a ratio.) I will list a few of them shortly for purposes of illustration.
“I believed we were going to learn about good and evil, human nature, the way to be good. You understand. Exactly what God is really like. You understand. The Way to live. But we’re learning about P plus Q arrows or S. What is that, haw? I work all day, and commute for 2 hours, and what do I get? P and Q arrows R.”
A popular means to demonstrate a motif is through the actions of the protagonist and the antagonist, with the antagonist showing the dark side of the motif and the protagonist the optimistic side.
“Knowledge is limited, imagination isn’t.” Albert Einstein explained that even though the wording of the next part could have been different. Einstein like any other human being was not infallible. A number of his views he held right till the end turned out to be incorrect in the field of physics. In this particular statement also he seems to have it backwards. Knowledge may be limited in the case of someone but generally it’s unlimited even when we believe just rational knowledge leaving aside transcendental. Science in particular has shown this at each step in the course of its development. Imagination pertains to an individual thoughts and is constrained by numerous things based on the circumstances of the individual. A mind can imagine only what happens in a way to things already stored inside. A person that has been outside a distant place in wilderness and has had no contact with the world outside cannot imagine what metropolitan cities are like.
I wrote a brief story called “Shooting Goliath” as a realistic narrative of what happened to me once I dropped off a waterfall. BUT I also have a scene in my time traveling adventure where my main character jumps off a waterfall to catch somebody else’s attention. I KNOW that is fiction… because I’m scared of heights, but I have had the experience that makes that segment believable. I have a character in that book that lost their spouse after 30 decades, which has happened to me. My narrative is predicated on the concept that you can’t help others if you can’t help yourself. Every personality has doubts and fears to overcome before they can finish their assignments. I focus on what I do know, not on what I don’t.
Here we have some similarity with the digital reality of the modern computer technology, which is an artificial environment created by applications. It’s introduced to the audience in this manner that the individual temporarily suspends own opinion pattern and takes it as a true environment. In ways it isn’t different from the phenomenon of being hauled to the imagined world of fiction, except that the computer performing the task is in mind and we have no clue regarding what is the applications and who is the programmer.
